Watertown, MA. September 16, 2020. Respiratory Motion Inc. (RMI) announced today it has signed a distribution agreement with TrillaMed for the U.S. Veteran Health Administration, Department of Defense and other government-based markets. Per the agreement, TrillaMed will work in conjunction with RMI’s direct field team to distribute the ExSpiron® minute ventilation monitor. ExSpiron is the only non-invasive minute ventilation, tidal volume and respiratory rate monitor available in the market.
“This partnership with TrillaMed makes it easy for clinicians at VA and federal hospital facilities to get access to our non-invasive approach to detect changes in respiratory status that could lead to adverse outcomes,” said Laura Piccinini, CEO at RMI. “We are delighted to work with the TrillaMed team and believe the level of market access this agreement provides will help position RMI for strong growth in the U.S. government-based market.”
“Our mission at TrillaMed is to improve patient safety and quality of life for active duty and our Veterans alike. Akin to this focus is bringing groundbreaking technology to veteran and military hospitals. We are excited to add ExSpiron to our product line. The ExSpiron will be a vital resource in our current environment,” said Tejas Smart, TrillaMed's National Accounts Director.
